details
A personal details report is a textual overview of a person’s family information as stored in the database and will relate to the person selected in the main window. An overview listing the person’s age at any important event will be added at the end of the report. Events regarding the person and close relatives include start or end of relationships, births, deceases and witnessing of such events. The latter will only be shown if on page Extra > Instellingen > Rapporten > Tekst the box “Getuigen” has been checked. In addition the amount of relatives shown is determined by the number set in the box “Maximum Verwantschapsgraad”, to be found through Stamboom > Eigenschappen. This number represents the degree of kinship and equals the amount of generations that separate two relatives counting up and, or down along birth lines.
• degree 1: parents and children
• degree 2: grandparents, grandchildren, siblings
• degree 3: great-grandparents, great-grandchildren, uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces
• degree 4: first cousins, great-great-grandparents and great-great-grandchildren, great-uncles, -aunts, -nephews, -nieces
• degree >4: not included
The age-event overview of the personal details report will, for the person’s life span, show all events regarding those relatives of the set and any lower degree, with a maximum kinship degree of 4, even if the set degree is higher than 4. In difference, the main window version of the age-event overview will eventually show relatives with kinship degrees higher than 4, up to the set maximum.
